I didn’t become a coach because fitness always came naturally. In fact, I never really felt any “good” at fitness or sport.
I became a coach because I realised first hand how important it is to prioritize yourself regardless of the season of your life.

Throughout my teens I LOVED sport but I was by no means an athlete, in fact I had a motto I lived by “Roni doesn’t run”, it was kind of an ongoing joke in any of the team sports I played. When I started experiencing intense menstrual pain, I found my relationship with sport really changed as I often felt defeated and debilitated whenever my period came. At 21, I was diagnosed with endometriosis and that official diagnosis changed the game.
Fast forward to the age of 23 when I had our eldest daughter. I found pregnancy a strange experience and had some minor hiccups in my health that made me really paranoid about the wellbeing of my baby - this led to a real fear around safe exercise during pregnancy. I loved postpartum but I ended up losing a lot of weight whilst breastfeeding and struggled with the energy and time to exercise. When I started prioritising my health postpartum, I really got into exercising for enjoyment (and often to put bub to sleep). I had this big shift in my mentality and appreciation for my body and all that she was capable of.
In 2025, whilst heavily pregnant with our second daughter, I started my certificates in fitness primarily to support my own understanding on how to move my body safely during pregnancy and postpartum. Exercise became a method of self-care as a busy stay at home/work from home mum.
My goal isn’t to help women become smaller.
It’s to help them become stronger, more capable, more confident and more self-respecting.
